The Sherlock Holmes Museum Shop A superb heavy baluster form coffee pot with scalloped and medallion fluting, and ivory insulators. It is quite likely that Tiffany & Co drew a certain amount of inspiration from the mid-Victorian English designs of the silversmith Martin Hall & Co, hence one can see the influence on Armerican coffee pots in the design of this fabulous coffee pot. This coffee pot probably once belonged to part of a tea set, but as the tea pot was more commonly used in Britain for the famous "British Cuppa", it was more likely to suffer from damage over time. That would explain why this coffee pot is still in perfect condition after 140 years.
